Y&R Spoilers Monday, January 8: Adam & Sally Make Moves, Is Seth Setting Up Nikki?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, January 8 tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) continue on their tenuous path to reunion.

They have both been burned in the past but Adam is unrelenting in his pursuit of the fiery redhead. Slowly he is worming his way back into her life, and for everyone’s sake we hope things work out better this time out than they have in the past.

Y&R Spoilers: Adam’s Persistence

Sally extended a dinner invitation to Adam and promised it counts as a real date. They are taking small steps after the loss of their baby, and being careful to do things right this time.

While it could take time for them to regain the traction they once had, there’s no doubt that the love and chemistry is still there.

Expect this fan fave couple to share a nice dinner capped off with a champagne toast. By the end of the evening, the couple think that they have nowhere to go but up!

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Newbie In Genoa City

Also on Monday, January 8, fans will meet a newbie in Genoa City, Wisconsin when Seth (Brian Gaskill) appears at one of Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) AA meeting.

Gaskill is a daytime vet and fans will recognize him from one of many soaps he has starred in.

Who is Seth? We’re about to find out! He will share a bit about himself in the AA meeting that Nikki Newman attends. Let’s hope she doesn’t break out her purse flask during a break in the action.

Y&R spoilers: Nikki Off and On the Wagon

Some fans are already convinced that Seth is a plant put there by Jordan (Colleen Zenk). We’ll have to wait and see about that, but in the meantime Nikki and Seth form a compassionate bond.

Nikki learns to lean on Seth for support. Sometimes it is easier to confide in a stranger, and this is something Nikki will do with Seth. She is on a rocky road and confiding in her family may disappoint them seeing as how they don’t know that she’s sneaking alcohol.

But, explosive show spoilers tease that during the week of January 8-12, Nikki gets drunk at the GCAC!

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Nikki’s Enabler

Too late, Nikki realizes she doesn’t want Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to see her this way. Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) steps up to enable her friend, as she has done for decades with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).

Lauren puts Nikki in a suite to recover and at some point meets Seth who treats her with dignity and respect. Niktor fans are already worrying that this relationship will lead to something beyond friendship—tell us what you think about this wild idea Y&R fans!
