Maurice took to his X (formerly Twitter) account to write, “My Facebook has been hacked by some criminals. Hopefully we get it fixed soon. Thank you for your patience.”

Yikes! Don’t you just hate when that happens? Unfortunately, this happens quite often for a lot of our favorite daytime television stars. Of course, many of Maurice’s fans sure did have a lot to say about the matter. He received comments such as, “Maurice sorry to hear this I too was hacked on Facebook and lost my account and all my family pictures were deleted so I know how upsetting it is hopefully you can recover your account soon I wish they could get these a@@holes and lock them up ty for warning us,” along with, “That happened to me last march and I couldn’t recover it. Lost everything, all the memories I looked forward to see every day. I lost my grandpa and 3 cousins in the last 3 years and all the memories I had on fb are gone 🙁 sorry this happened to you @MauriceBenard.”

General Hospital Star Maurice Benard Can’t Get Into His Facebook Account

And there was this comment as well, “FB is ridiculous for hackers anymore all the time! How they pretend to actually be the person who posted and comment on it yet I don’t think the person that really posted can even see it on their own post! I’ve seen it happen on yours b4 too also on here. Smh.”

Then there were some people who couldn’t help but wonder if it could have been Drew and Carly behind the act! It’s a good thing that actor Steve Burton is coming back to Port Charles as Jason Morgan because clearly both Maurice and his on-screen alter ego Sonny could use some much needed help!
