King Charles only wants to deal with one dramatic event at a time. That’s probably one of the reasons why the King of England has supposedly decided to delay announcing the divorce of two members of the royal family. As many royal fans and critics alike can recall, there was a lot of speculation during the holidays that a royal divorce announcement would be made during the beginning of the new year. But seeing how Jeffrey Epstein’s client list is dominating the headlines right now and Prince Andrew’s name seems to be all over those unsealed documents, King Charles has decided to deal with just one royal headache a day. There’s only so much that the King of England can take at a time. While his mother Queen Elizabeth certainly knew how to handle scandals and controversies like a pro, King Charles is still fairly new at the job. Not only that, but he has no patience with his younger brother Prince Andrew and all of the embarrassment that he’s brought upon the royal family. But at the same time, he has to suck it up and place nice. Making the Duke of York look like a royal pariah will just put more of a negative spotlight on the royal family right now and that’s the last thing that King Charles wants.
Of course, the King of England can’t do anything about the two royal members deciding to pull the plug on their marriage. And no, it’s not Prince Harry and Meghan Markle who are getting a divorce. While the news certainly won’t be anything seismic, it’s still going to create quite a stir in the media. That’s why King Charles wants to wait until the Jeffrey Epstein news settles down before anything is announced about a royal divorce.
