There’s friends, there’s best friends, and then there are friends with benefits. Seeing how there is so much speculation that actor Steve Burton might be returning to General Hospital, a lot of fans can’t help but wonder if he will reprise his role as Jason Morgan or better yet, Jason Quartermaine. And if he does, a lot of fans also believe that he might reunite with Carly Corinthos. And before you know it, the two ‘best friends’ might get very up close and personal in the weeks and months to come. That would certainly make for great daytime television, right? Will Carly and Jason reunite on General Hospital? That’s what all the strong speculation seems to be about right now. It was reported earlier in the week that actor Steve Burton had ended his contract with Days of Our Lives, prompting a lot of fans to wonder if he will make the switch back to General Hospital or even The Young and the Restless. Of course, fans would love to see him back in Port Charles as being Jason Morgan or even Jason Quartermaine is what Steve does best.
It would definitely be a storyline that no one would forget if Carly and Jason were to hook up after having not seen each other for so many years. After all, it has been presumed that Jason has been dead this entire time. It would also be very interesting to see Carly gravitate back to Jason after having both Drew and Sonny in her life for so long.
So far Steve Burton has not made any comments about whether or not he would consider coming back to Port Charles. Watch this space as we have a feeling that there’s going to be some juicy GH drama to come.
