The actor, who just finalized his divorce from Sheree Burton and has been let go from his contract with Days of Our Lives, has become the butt of jokes for some mainstream media outlets. It seems like Page Six must have something against Steve Burton or they are just getting a kick out of the fact that his life seems to mirror a daytime television storyline these days because they hit him where it hurts the most with their latest headline. It said, “Steve Burton exits ‘Days of Our Lives’ after finalizing divorce from wife who was impregnated by another man.”

Ouch. That certainly has to hurt.

Of course, many fans and critics alike sure had a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some even commented with, “He announced the news in the best way he could. Keeping it classy and not trashing the mother of his kids. Even though she was obviously trash,” along with, “I heard she had a 4th baby at 44, and just had another at 45!! 5 kids, 21 years apart. 44 and 45 is so old! I bet he had a vasectomy, and then she told him she was pregnant and caught! She’s a real lady, isn’t she?”

Another fan wrote, “Steve Burton just can’t get a break these days, can’t he? I really didn’t want to see him on Days of Our Lives and hope he returns to General Hospital. That’s where he belongs.
