The Young and the Restless spoilers say that if there’s one person who can do it, you better believe that it’s going to be Summer Newman. In fact, Summer puts her mother Phyllis Summers in her place after she tells her that she’s going to fight for Danny. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

During the most recent episode of The Young and the Restless, Phyllis has once again proven that she’s someone who only cares about herself in this world. That, and she certainly has no shame in her game. Phyllis even told her daughter Summer that she will push against any woman who tries to get in her way when it comes to Danny. Thankfully, Summer did call out Phyllis in dragging Danny into her very dramatic life just to stick it to Christine.

Of course, many The Young and the Restless fans have had a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some have even taken to Twitter to write, “I know that’s the truth. Phyllis wouldn’t be so interested in Danny. If Danny wasn’t so interested in Christine. Phyllis is not in Love with Danny. Danny isn’t really Phyllis’s type. And deep down she knows this. There is nothing between Danny and Phyllis to build something on,” along with, “Phyllis should want nothing to do with Chris because she’s on probation. Chris is acting desperate with her inviting Danny for a sleep away just to get him away from Phyllis. I hope they let Summer walk away and not turn into a stalker when it comes to Chance.”

And then there was this comment as well: “I’m also glad she chooses not to be like Phyllis. Folks can talk  all they want regarding this whole Chance thing but let’s be real here it’s just a crush and he & Sharon aren’t a real couple anyway and I don’t ship them, never have. They’ve only been on a few dates.”
