GH Spoilers Update Thursday, January 4: Risks, Revenge, And Repentance

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Thursday, January 4 tease risks, retribution and repentance. Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) worries about risks, Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) plots revenge, and Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) is repentant to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).

General Hospital Spoilers: Risks

Curtis talks about the risks of his experimental procedure that may or may not help him walk again. He worries to someone, asking what if it doesn’t work? If he doesn’t take the risk he’ll never know so he needs to go through with it.

If the procedure doesn’t work, he won’t be any better but likely won’t be any worse. And it’s worked before on others in similar situations, so maybe he’s worrying too much.

GH Spoilers: Revenge

Nikolas unexpectedly showed up at the Jerome Art Gallery, and he and Ava Jerome (Maura West) plot revenge against Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl). Ava asks him what he’s planning to do to Esme, and she’s a little flirty in spite of having given him no hope for reconciliation earlier.

It would seem he’s punished Esme enough having kept her captive in the North Tower of Wyndemere nearly her whole pregnancy. But Ava seems excited to plot with him to give Esme her due!

General Hospital Spoilers: Laura Collins’ Advice

Meanwhile, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) is talking to Esme, having made a realization-it sounds like she’s realized Esme has her memory back.

She tells Esme she needs to turn herself in-but is it for prior charges, or breaking into Wyndemere? When Esme visited her birth mother Heather Webber (Alley Mills) in prison she’d advised her to keep her business to herself and not tell anyone.

So the question is, did Laura figure out Esme got her memory back on her own? Or did Esme trust Laura enough to confess it to her?

GH Spoilers: Confrontation Continuing

Elsewhere, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) continue the confrontation after Willow laid into him for holding back the truth.

Michael admitted his having known for months that Nina had turned Carly and Drew into the SEC and said nothing.

Willow’s trust has been broken both by her birth mother and her husband, and she lashes out, wanting to know what kind of marriage is that? This isn’t a problem that’s easily resolved, Willow no longer trusts Michael.

General Hospital Spoilers: Repentance

Meanwhile, a repentant Nina is doing exactly what Sonny told him to do, and she’s at Carly’s house in the middle of the night to apologize and ask forgiveness.

It’s not the greatest time in the world for Carly, having just found out that her mother died and Drew stands with her at the front door. Nina tried before but Carly blew her off, and now she’ll lash out at Nina.

There’s a good possibility Drew will lash out at her as well. They won’t have a lot of patience.

GH Spoilers: Sonny Corinthos Confronts Cyrus Renault

In the meantime, Sonny had gone to the church to pray, where previously Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) had played priest to Nina in the confessional.

Sonny is angered as he shouts at Cyrus, telling him tonight is not the night to be pushing him! Cyrus could be pushing him to forgive Nina and Sonny’s not going to hear that. It’s just a bad night all around for many in Port Charles!
