What is Steve Burton going to do next? Of course, many soap fans sure did have a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some have even commented with, “Days of Our LIves hiring Steve Burton was stupid in the first place. He wasn’t worth the money and you weren’t going to get a lot of GH fans to sign up for Peacock to watch a show they’ve never seen before,” along with, “Hate to have him back on #GH which unfortunately is an eventuality but thankful to see his terrible #Days tenure end – hope to see that $$ go toward bringing back Bo & Hope!”

Another DOOL fan wrote, “I hope he goes to Y&R or somewhere other than GH, there are several actors on GH with health issues and newborns, and he didn’t think of them. The character Jason can always be recast if need be, but actors having to quit because they can’t be on set isn’t right.”

And then there was this comment as well, “I loved him on #Days and wish him nothing but the best. I hope to see him back on Y&R.”

Days of Our Lives News: What’s Next For Steve Burton?

Now, whether or not Steve ends up going back to General Hospital or makes the switch to The Young and the Restless remains to be seen, but for now the actor has not made any comments about his future plans.
