The Bold And The Beautiful spoilers for Wednesday, January 3 indicate that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) makes a huge mistake.

Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) defends Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) to the very end. Thomas is shocked by Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) response to his proposal.

After his shocking conversation with Xander Avant (Adain Bradley), Finn called Steffy to his office to talk. Finn tells Steffy that he ran into someone that she used to work with but she was stunned to find out that Xander was back in town. Steffy explained to Finn that Xander was fired from Forrester Creations because of the baby switch.

Finn seems to wonder if there is some merit to Xander’s story since he is so adamant that Thomas killed Emma Barber (Nia Sioux). This was not the smartest move for Finn to make considering that Steffy is fiercely loyal to her brother.

Steffy doesn’t believe that for a minute and tells Finn as much. Will Finn back down or continue to question the facts?

Steffy has told Finn everything about the baby switch so she doesn’t need someone else coming in and causing more problems. Emma died years ago what is the point in bringing this up to question again?

Steffy was furious when Finn brought up the way Thomas spoke to her over Hope as well. However, Steffy was pushing him so what more could they expect but for him to tell her to back off?

Thomas truly didn’t know what to think when Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) turned down his proposal. Thomas was convinced that the timing was right to propose to Hope.

After all, they have been together for a while now. Thomas wants to take things to the next level but he really isn’t given Hope time to process her divorce.

Now that Hope has rejected his proposal, Thomas may seriously consider turning back to his old ways again. Thomas has tried to win Hope’s heart but because she turned him down again, could become obsessed once again?

Is Thomas ready to give Hope the time she needs or will he try to rush their relationship and put her away in the process?
