Melania Trump is being forced to scale back again. Even though there were reports indicating that she wanted to hit the campaign trail running in order to help her husband Donald Trump win a second term in the White House, it looks like her plans have drastically changed. Melania Trump Forced To Scale Back Again

Melania Trump is not someone who likes to make a lot of public appearances or speak on behalf of her husband, former president Donald Trump. In fact, many critics have said that it was easier to locate a needle in a haystack than the former First Lady. Even though Page Six reported that Melania wanted to change all of that and be more visible in the coming weeks and months ahead, she’s now going to have to step back once more. That’s because her mother, Amaluija Knav, is very ill and the former model wants to spend as much time with her as possible. She is currently recovering at a hospital in MIami.

On New Year’s Eve, Donald Trump even addressed a crowd at Mar-A-Lago and told everyone that Melania was by her mother’s side. He said, “Hopefully, that’ll be OK, but it’s a tough one, a very tough one,” also adding that his wife “knows probably about 95 percent of the people in this room. We just want to wish Amalija that she gets better as quickly as possible.”

Donald Trump Didn’t Specify An Illness

However, Donald didn’t specify what his mother-in-law’s illness was. With that said, here’s hoping that everything works out well so Melania can go back to supporting her husband, as she was hoping to do for the new year. Seeing how Donald’s daughter Ivanka has decided that she doesn’t want to support her father on the campaign trail anymore, he’s going to need Melania more than ever before.
