Y&R Spoilers Monday, January 1: Victor’s Promise, Nikki’s Self-Loathing, Claire Rejects Cole & Victoria Help?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, January 1 tease that Genoa City, Wisconsin is in for some dynamite action as 2024 arrives.

Before we talk about that, we should mention a programming note: depending on which time zone you reside in, on Friday, December 29 you will see the Sun Bowl or a repeat episode of Y&R.

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Summer and Sharon Tangle

During the week of January 1-5 Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) gets into her ex-stepmom Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case) business. Direct Summer asks her if she loves their mutual object of attraction, former lawman Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd).

This will clearly put Sharon on notice that Summer is interested in her man, although she was able to deduce that by the way Summer flirted with Chance.

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Aunt Jordan’s Menace

Last week Jordan (Colleen Zenk) once again tried to take down Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and once again she was the one tapping out.

It appears Jordan will be out of everyone’s hair, at least for a bit (Zenk has signed a contract with Y&R). So the action switches to how Nikki will adjust to her double horrors at the hands of Jordan.

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) remains fixed next to Nikki as she detoxes. He could also make the ranch an alcohol-free zone. But, she has been through great trauma and that won’t resolve overnight.

Nikki is relieved over Jordan’s arrest, but she now must face a brand-new arduous sobriety battle.

Y&R News: Victoria’s Fresh Drama

Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) learn what happened at the cabin with Nikki, Jordan and Claire Grace (Hayley Erin).

Nikki convinced her granddaughter that Jordan would never hurt Claire again, and Victoria and Cole want to rush Claire back into the psych ward.

Y&R spoilers: Daniel is a Rat?

Meanwhile when Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) kissed Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) on New Year’s Eve kiss, he kissed her back.

How will Daniel deal with the truth when his GF Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is on an extended visit out of town?

Making matters more juicy, Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) took a pic of Heather and Daniel fast asleep together on the couch, all cozy under a shared blanket. Danny picks up on the new vibe and advises Daniel not to make a mess of his love life. Will he listen? Be sure to tune in and find out Y&R fans!
