General Hospital spoilers say there’s been a lot of speculation as to whether or not Steve Burton will return to his old stomping ground in Port Charles. And while some people think he should come back as Jason Morgan, other fans have different ideas for his return. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

General Hospital Spoilers: Steve Burton To Return As Jason Quartermaine?

Is Steve Burton returning to General Hospital in 2024? That’s what every fans wants to know. Seeing how his storyline is dwindling down on Days of Our Lives (where he plays Harris Michaels), there are a lot of rumors suggesting he might make the switch back to General Hospital now that there’s no vaccine mandate put in place at the network. As many fans can recall, Steve and his former General Hospital co-star Ingo Rademacher both left the show when they refused to get vaccinated against COVID-19 back in 2021.

Well, some fans think that if Steve were to return to General Hospital next year the best storyline would be for him to come back as Jason Quartermaine. That would give him plenty of time and a lot of backstory as it would give him an opportunity to see what Jason Morgan did with his life.

Many General Hospital viewers commented on the matter with, “Crazy thing with Robin, Jason Morgan was as close as he would ever be being back as Jason Quartermaine and while with Robin he was mending and repairing his relationship with his family,enter Carly and it was all destroyed,” along with, “I think the best storyline for SB to return to GH would be for Dex to confess to Sonny that Jason is his Dad and he first sought out Sonny to get revenge for Jason’s supposed death.”

And then there was this comment as well: “What great story that would be! This distain for Sonny & Carly, an apology tour thru PC. He could even become a late in life doctor and give the Q’s a nice little jolt!”

So far Steve himself has not made any comments about whether or not he’d be willing to come back to Port Charles.
