Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint that Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) is on a road to redemption. Once a diabolical villainess, after she learned the truth about her Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) at the lake house, she was on #TeamNewman.

Still, despite this, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) were very skeptical about helping the young lady. Will all this change now that Claire has once again turned on her aunt to save her bio family?

Y&R Spoilers: It Wasn’t Claire Grace’s Fault

Y&R spoilers suggest that Claire’s role in the lake house debacle wasn’t exactly her fault. Yes, she’s an adult who could’ve made better life choices; however, she also grew up very isolated and alienated. On top of that, her only influence was Jordan, who essentially brainwashed her.

Claire has proven multiple times over that she is capable of making the right decision now that she’s out from under Jordan’s spell.

She saved the Newmans from dying at the lake house and saved Nikki during her final showdown with Jordan at the musty-dusty cabin she was hiding out at, which is sure to score her points with her grandmother. But what about her grandad?

Y&R Spoilers: Gaining The Moustache’s Acceptance Will Be Challenging

Y&R spoilers imply that Victor has a soft spot in his heart for all his granddaughters. Not that he doesn’t love and do just about anything for all his grandsons; however, he does have a special bond with Summer Newman (Allison Lanier), Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster), and Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercuri).

He even shared a beautiful grandfather-granddaughter relationship with the late Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes).

Still, Claire has a very tough road ahead. Victor is all about testing loyalty and while Ms. Grace has passed a few of these, he’ll have plenty more in store for her in the days and weeks ahead. As much as he wants to welcome her into the fold, he’s also fiercely protective of Vicky.
