Y&R Spoilers Update Tuesday, December 26: Jordan’s Fury, Nikki’s Choice, Victoria’s Heroics

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, December 26 tease that the mother of all battles is about to go down in Genoa City, Wisconsin. The showdown features in one corner Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) who turns to an old friend to help her face off with an old enemy.

In the other corner is Jordan (Colleen Zenk) who has summoned Nikki to a hostage drama swap.

Nikki should never, ever confront evil Jordan on her own, but Nikki has had enough of this beotch terrorizing her and her family. With the help of a genie in a bottle, Nikki believes she has what it takes to take down Jordan.

Jordan kidnapped Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) out of her hospital room and is holding her captive. The plan is for Nikki to exchange herself for Claire and there is no reason for Nikki to trust Jordan. But what choice does she have? Nikki saw the pain her daughter Victoria

Newman (Amelia Heinle) went through in losing Claire, and the light in her eyes now that she is reunited with her. She can’t bring herself to deny Victoria the chance to get to know her daughter.

Perhaps against her better judgement, Nikki takes off to deal with Jordan and she soon finds herself face to face with a loaded gun pointed straight at her.

Jordan clearly wants Nikki to pay for her perceived sins against her dead sister, Eve Howard. And Nikki is no match for a loaded pistol. Then there is the problem of Claire. Claire colluded with Jordan in assaulting the family and she needs to be redeemed.

Maybe this is her chance? If Claire takes it upon herself to defend Nikki, or attempt to sacrifice herself for her, such a selfless act would go a long way in redeeming Claire in Nikki’s, Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden), and Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) eyes.

Then again, it could be a ferocious showdown in which three generations of Newman women band together to take out a common foe.
