For Prince William and Kate Middleton, there’s no sweeter revenge in this world than looking absolutely happy on Christmas Day. That’s because they know that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle wanted to be at Sandringham with the rest of the royal family for Christmas this year, but simply weren’t invited. So, what do the Prince and Princess of Wales do? They show the Sussexes – and the world – just how much fun they are having on the most peaceful day of the calendar year. Here’s what you need to know.
Along with their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, Prince William and Kate Middleton looked like the picture-perfect family when they did their annual walk from Sandringham House to their church service on Christmas Day. Of course, they were also joined by King Charles, Queen Camilla and the rest of the royal family. There are even photos of a smiling Prince Louis holding hands with his cousin, Mia Tindall.
It goes without saying that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle absolutely wanted to be a part of the festivities this year. They sure hinted about it several times with the help of the press but unfortunately never received an official invite from King Charles. And at this point, everyone probably knows the reason why.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle know that their children are missing out by not being included in all of the royal festivities. They are also missing out on the opportunity of getting to know their royal cousins a little better. But at this point, it doesn’t look like anything’s going to change. They’ve been left absolutely humiliated once again by the Prince and Princess of Wales, simply by not being them.
So far both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not made any comments about the matter.
