General Hospital Spoilers: Cyrus Plays Priest As Nina Confesses!

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease in this week’s Sneak Peek, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will play priest as Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) confesses!

At the hospital for the story time reading for the children, she becomes overwhelmed with guilt and asks the hospital chapel priest (uncredited actor) to confess.

General Hospital Spoilers: Overwhelming Guilt

It all starts with Nina talking to Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) about her late sister Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) and wondering if she could have been “fixed”.

Nina then felt compelled to stay praying in the chapel and lighting candles, and everything she’d done that she could lose her relationships with Willow and her grandchildren overwhelmed her.

The priest walked in and she asked him if he had time for a confession, and he said he would after he finished up with some things, and she said okay.

Then Nina goes to the confessional booth and enters; and she starts pouring out her heart and soul. What she doesn’t know is she’s pouring her heart and soul and what she’s done to Cyrus, who’s playing priest and had been eavesdropping earlier.

GH Spoilers: True Confessions

Nina starts off by saying she’s never come to confession before, but something happened and she needs help; she doesn’t know where else to turn. She then says that she hopes it’s okay that she’s there-and Cyrus tells her God is eager to help all his children, go on.

Nina confesses that she acted out of spite, and it’s spiraling out of control-she knew the second after she did it that it was wrong. But, she’d had no idea that it would hurt so many people this much; Cyrus asks who did she hurt?

He looks concerned as he asks this, and Nina says they were people who may not be saints, but they didn’t deserve what happened to them because of her.

General Hospital Spoilers: Cyrus Renault Wants All The Details

Cyrus then wants all the details, and asks Nina who the people are, are they friends, or are they family-Nina wants to know if it matters.

Cyrus then tells her to truly be able to advise her, he needs more information; he says to just let go, open her heart, that God wants to hear everything. Nina looks troubled, and sighs, and then she nods yes-she’ll soon proceed to give the “priest” all the details, not knowing it’s really Cyrus.

The question is now, once Nina has confessed all to Cyrus, what will he do with the information she’s confessed to him? Will he remain true to his supposed redemption and try to help, or will he use it against her?
