Phyllis and Christine “Cricket” Williams (Lauralee Bell) have fought over Danny for years and Phyllis is determined to win out over “Bug” again!

Phyllis and Cricket have been romantic rivals for years, and when Phyllis wasn’t after Danny, she was after Paul Williams (Doug Davidson)!

It seems like the rivalry might be more important to Phyllis than the relationship with whichever man she tries to steal from her. The rivalry with Christine is almost worse than the one with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) over Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).

Back in the day, Phyllis was a groupie who chased Danny and finally got him into bed-convincing him that Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) was his son. He wasn’t, but Danny adopted the boy anyway and raised him, and has always loved him as his own.

Y & R Spoilers: Rivalry Ramps Up

Phyllis knew she had to get her hooks into Danny again the minute she found herself in a Christmas gathering with her family, Danny, – and “the bug”!

There is bad blood between Phyllis and Christine anyway, since Christine didn’t like losing her case against Phyllis when she faked her death and murdered Jeremy Stark (James Hyde).

It didn’t matter to Christine that Phyllis claimed she killed Stark in self-defense since there was no proof to substantiate it, but somehow Phyllis squeaked out of it.

Christine was basically forced to concede and drop the charges against Phyllis-all of them, including for faking her death and that’s one reason she is so upset with Phyllis.

Christine doesn’t like to lose cases but when her years-long rival Phyllis is involved, it just makes everything worse.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Phyllis Summers Knows She Can Snag Him

Phyllis knows she can snag Danny, she’s done so several times before and she tells him she knows he can feel their connection and starts kissing him.

But she doesn’t realize that he and Christine have been in the process of making a decision about their future; even so, she’s not taking no for an answer.

She knows it’s been a long time since Danny was involved with any woman, and she wants to be the one to break his long and lonely dry spell.

Will Danny be able to say no, in the midst of Phyllis’ passionate kissing, or will he give in like he did so many years ago? Phyllis keeps it up and gets hot and heavy, and she’s not giving up until she steals him from “Bug”!
