The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Eric Forrester’s Life Hangs In The Balance

Eric has been unconscious and on a ventilator for several days. The longer Eric is immobile and not breathing on his own, the more dire his situation is getting.

Eric is facing the possibility of pneumonia and several other lung infections. Eric needs to come off of this ventilator as soon as possible to prevent any complications.

Eric has already been through surgery and a stem cell transplant. Eric has been fighting this disease for months without taking any treatments or trying to get ahead of it.

Eric even hosted a Gala for his family and collapsed before he was taken to the hospital. Eric told his family he was ready to go but was placed on a ventilator and they operated on instead. Can he survive this procedure?

Ridge Forrester Has An Important Decision To Make

The Bold And The Beautiful spoilers reveal that Eric’s other doctors believe that he needs to immediately come off this ventilator. Eric needs to start breathing on his own and begin to improve and this isn’t going to happen while he is hooked up to a vent and a bunch of tubes. However, there is no guarantee that he can breathe on his own either.

Ridge needs to make a life-and-death decision. Do they leave Eric on the ventilator knowing he will be right there and give him more time or do they take him off the ventilator and see what happens?

After all, there are no other options. Will Ridge take a chance and unhook Eric and see if he survives or will he prolong Eric’s time on the vent?

Now that removing Eric from the ventilator is an option, Eric needs a miracle. Eric has been told all of this time that there were treatments or cures for his condition. However, Finn has come up with something that he hopes has worked.
