B&B Spoilers Update Thursday, December 21: Steffy Worries About Eric, Was Surgery Right, Ridge Has Another Option

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Steffy Forrester Worries About Eric Forrester

Steffy recently got to visit with her grandfather after his collapse at his gala. Eric was in critical condition when he went to the hospital and Ridge wanted to unplug life support and allow Eric to die in peace. Eric told his family he was ready to go and he had refused to have any more tests done because there was no cure for him.

However, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) worked day and night to find a treatment that might prolong Eric’s life. Finn hoped to present this treatment to Eric so he could decide for himself if he wanted to try it. Unfortunately, it took a bit longer than Finn thought to come up with something and Ridge was forced to choose.

Was Surgery The Right Decision?

The Bold And The Beautiful spoilers reveal that Ridge didn’t want to put Eric through any kind of procedure. Finn had explained that the recovery would be difficult and there would be some pain involved. Ridge was dead set against this and told Finn to pull the plug on Eric and allow him to die in peace.

Finn and Bridget (Ashley Jones) have done their level best for Eric. Finn also has other doctors helping to monitor Eric’s condition as well. Steffy completely trusts her husband to have done right by her grandfather and that hasn’t changed. However, is Eric too sick for the treatment to work? After all, Eric didn’t tell most of the family about this, others updated them later. Can this save Eric at all?

B&B Spoilers: John Finnegan Presents A New Option

Ridge will once again be faced with a life-and-death decision. Finn and Bridget will present a new treatment for Ridge to consider but once again, there are no guarantees. Ridge either wants his father to wake up and be his old self or he wants to let him go in peace. Will Ridge risk another experimental procedure?

Ridge feels guilty enough over everything he has already done to keep Eric with them. Ridge may not want to do anymore and no one would blame him unless Eric starts to show signs of improvement. Will Eric wake up and choose for himself this time? Will Ridge decide to leave well enough alone and just see what happens?
