General Hospital star Eden McCoy (Josslyn Jacks) has explained why she’s taking a little break from the show and from social media as well. As many fans are aware, Josslyn’s mother passed away from cancer after a very difficult battle. Here’s what you need to know.
Eden has decided that she’s going to take some time for herself to heal after the loss of her beloved mother. The actress took to her Instagram account to write, “Wanted to hop on & wish everyone happy holidays. I think I’m gonna take some time off of Twitter, but first needed to give thanks for any of the support within the last few weeks. Been a strange year, but I still feel very lucky. Wishing everyone reading this love and health.”
Of course, many of her fans and followers replied almost immediately to her post. Some of them even wrote, “Don’t blame you one little bit. Twitter can be a bunch of twits even if they did change their name. Take your time to heal and sending prayers, good thoughts, and support,” along with, “Just know that you are loved and we are sending nothing but good wishes your way. Do what you need to do for yourself. We’ll be here when you get back.”
Another General Hospital fan wrote, “You are so loved Eden, and while your presence has been missed, we all only want you to take care of yourself and do what you need to do for your own peace of mind, and we’ll all be right here when/if you come back. So much love and hugs to you.”
So far the producers of the show have not said when Eden is expected to return for filming. We will definitely update you with all of the latest details as they come in.
