General Hospital spoilers say that fans are going to be seeing a new face on the canvas in the coming weeks. That’s because actress Eden McCoy is being temporarily replaced by incoming actress Courtney Fulk. Here’s what you need to know.

As many fans know, Eden plays Josslyn Jacks, who is the daughter of Carly Corinthos and Jasper Jacks, who has long not been on the show. Eden has taken a little time off the soap because her mother passed away from cancer back on November 7th. Because General Hospital tapes about seven weeks in advance, Courtney would just appear in the episodes this week.

Many General Hospital fans have taken to Twitter on Courtney’s first episode, which aired on Tuesday, December 19th. Many have written comments such as, “She did really good. But, i definitely miss Eden already she is Josslyn no one can top her. can’t wait til she’s ready to come back. God bless you E and I know your beautiful mama is smiling down at you, congrats on your well deserved Emmy win!” along with, “Hope Eden takes all the time she needs . Healing from the loss of a parent is an ongoing process. Lost my Dad almost 6 years ago and some days it feels like yesterday. Wish her peace.”

Another fan wrote, “She did great.. Like they didn’t miss a beat, especially (for the first time in forever) the friendship-chem with Spencer. Let Eden take all the time she needs. #TempJoss works for us!! Also, praying Eden takes the time she needs. I recently lost my day this past July to a heart attack it’s devastating. May God be with her and her family.”
