The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Victoria Newman’s maternal instincts might have kicked in with Claire Grace, but it looks like she might want to listen to her gut as well. Because as much as Victoria might want to work on her new relationship with the daughter that she never had, she might want to be very careful with her, too. That’s because there’s no knowing just how sincere Claire might be. Here’s what you need to know.
During the latest episode of The Young and the Restless, Victoria and Claire embrace like the mother and daughter they never knew they were. It turns out that the baby Victoria had lost so many years ago, Eve, grew up to be Claire Grace. Throughout this entire time Claire was brainwashed in trying to get revenge on the Newman family and was very close to even killing them all with Aunt Jordan, too.
It goes without saying that many The Young and the Restless fans have had a lot to say about the matter on social media. It seems like there’s a good chance Claire might be playing mind games with her new mother. Some comments have even included, “This is going to be a trip for sure, not sure why I question why I am not a fan of this storyline. Maybe I have been watching the soap to long. Lol I think to see Victoria with this much caring, I can’t understand it,” along with, “They are finally making Victoria human I like her this way. This was so beautiful to watch and so incredibly sad.”
Another The Young and the Restless fan wrote, “This was a great scene but something tells me that Claire is going to turn on the entire Newman family. Victoria’s gonna want to watch her back. I’m glad that Hayley Erin is staying on the show because she’s the best thing to happen in Genoa City for a long time. I hope the producers know just how talented she is and decide to keep her.”
