General Hospital news says that fans are none too pleased with Frank Valentini and how he forgot to mention a very important name during the Daytime Emmys this past weekend. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
During the memorandum moment of the 50th Daytime Emmy Awards this past weekend, Frank Valentini mentioned all of the names of the actors that have passed away this past year. But there was one name that he completely omitted: Jackie Zeman! The actress used to play Bobbie Spencer on the hit ABC soap. Many viewers are shocked that her name was not mentioned.
It goes without saying that many General Hospital fans surely have had a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some of them even commented on the matter with, “He forgot Jackie Zeman in his acceptance speech. That was, frankly, an unacceptable oversight. Of course, he also looked like he was on the verge of catatonic, so that could’ve been it,” along with, “Some are saying he was tired because they probably had an early shooting schedule yesterday and worked most of the day; I don’t know, everyone else seemed fine.”
Another General Hospital critic wrote, “Frank Valentini not mentioning Jackie Zeman when he named Sonya Eddy and Nneka Garland in his acceptance speech was a major blunder on his part. Can see not mentioning Tyler or Billy since they weren’t a current part of the show, but not Jackie. I’m gonna chalk it up to he simply forgot in the anxiety of the moment. Public speaking doesn’t seem to be his strong suit, to put it generously.”
So far the producers of the soap have not made any comments about the omission. Although, some General Hospital fans feel as though it was just an honest mistake. Watch this space for more.

I think its atrocious that she was " forgotten." Seems like she and the vets are very" forgotten" along with the history.
Disappointing. Considering this is 60 years, I exoected much more in the way of flashbacks at least. If ephiffany can get a tribute episode, Bobbie should get a tribute week.
