How sweet is this! General Hospital star Kristina Wagner paid tribute to her dear friend Jackie Zeman, who passed away this past year, in the best and most heartfelt way possible. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
While on the red carpet for the Daytime Emmys this year, Kristina wore the same dress that Jackie wore for the last event that she attended before her death.
It was an incredibly touching gesture. Kristina even shared a picture of her dress while on the red carpet with the rest of the General Hospital cast on her Instagram account and captioned it with, “Peek-a-boo I see you! So proud of General Hospital, and the entire ensemble! It’s a group of kind, good hearted people that work together and look out for each other. In a workplace it doesn’t get better than that. And it’s nice to win too!”
It goes without saying that many General Hospital fans had a lot to say about the matter on social media.
Many were happy to see Kristina honor her late friend but at the same time, pretty surprised that General Hospital’s Executive Producer Frank Valentini didn’t have anything to say about Jackie’s death.
Some even commented with, “Kristina did Jackie Zemen proud! Thank you for your compassion & kindness for your friend. You looked stunning.Why didn’t Frank Valentini mention Jackie when he thanked the others? Bizarre!” along with, “Considering that Kristina has dealt with so much grief and sadness the last year, she is an inspiration!!!! A perfect tribute to honor Jackie and the Felicia/Bobbie friendship of 40 years!”
Another fan wrote, “Kudos to @KristinaWagnr for honoring her friend, I imagine Jackie is smiling down on her from heaven.”

YES! Absolutely! Cudos to Kristina Wagner! I've been wondering about this very same thing! He mentioned Christopher and Sonia, which was very appropriate. But what about Jacklyn Zeman? I've been watching General Hospital since it's infancy. My entire 4 years of college and two years of Graduate School, I scheduled my classes around General Hospital! That was from 1975 to 1981! I am still a loyal fan. I was shocked upon hearing about her death! I'm so happy you so have pointed this out! Jackie Zeman deserved more credit than that! She was wonderful. My name is Jackie also, and my full name is spelled exactly like hers, Jacklyn! She is missed! Congratulations to the entire cast of General Hospital and to you, for your story! Thank you!
