Say it isn’t so! The Bold and the Beautiful comings and goings say that actress Krista Allen, who is best known for her role as Taylor Hayes, has been pink slipped from the show. According to reports, this Daytime Emmy Awards is going to be an awkward one for Krista Allen as she will be walking the red carpet as an unemployed actress. Deadline says that she was let go from the soap. The actress says that she was told in October that her contract wouldn’t be renewed and that she hasn’t been on the show since November 8.

Krista told the site, “The craziest thing is right before I got dropped, I did the cast photo shoot, and then the next week they called and said, ‘we’re not going to keep your third year and thank you very much, you were wonderful and thank you, goodbye. And I was like, what?”

She then continued, “I think the hardest thing for me has been trying to stay quiet. I haven’t known what to say. And then when I got dropped, I was like, ‘oh, okay, is the show going to announce this?’ But they never did.”

Many The Bold and the Beautiful fans have had a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some even commented with, “But can you blame her? Why would she be recurring when she’s Steffy/ Thomas’s mother? I’m glad that she stood up for herself like she did. Taylor is just as much as important than Brooke or anyone of those Logans on the show.”

Another The Bold and the Beautiful critic wrote, “One less soap for me to watch. She was an amazing choice to play Queen Taylor. She did an amazing job of making such an important character her own. She deserved so much more than this!”

So far the producers of the show have not made any comments about the matter.
