Young and the Restless Spoilers: Brad Sanders Brings “Clarence” To Genao City For The Holidays

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggest a nice holiday surprise for this year, as comedian, writer, and actor, Brad Sanders is set to grace your daytime drama television screens.

He’s best known for his radio soap opera show It’s Your World and The Clarence Update of Bold and the Beautiful (B&B); in fact, he received two Daytime Emmy nods as a performer/writer in the New Approaches in the Daytime Entertainment category, for the latter show.

Fans may remember Sanders as “Clarence”, a well-dressed and cool character with an extensive hat collection who offered an interesting summary of soap opera highlights weekly.

Y&R Spoilers: Brad Sanders Air Date Revealed

Clarence is set to make his special appearance during the holiday week, appearing on the Wednesday, December 27th episode.

A native of Chicago, Mr. Sanders majored in TV and radio production at Columbia. After graduating, he moved to LA to pursue his dreams.

He owns Babysitters Productions, a production company he founded in the late ‘80s, and the very same organization that produced The Clarence Update, as well as An Inside

Look at the News Inside the News comedy segment. Babysitters Productions also created a number of radio shows, including It’s Your World.

Other than the airdate, there’s little information on what Mr. Sanders and “Clarence” will be up to in Genoa City, but unlike the Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) storyline, it looks like his scenes will have a “feel-good” nature to them.

CBS soap fans may recognize Brad from his cameo in 2012 on B&B, where he played the minister who married Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) and Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis). Mr. Saunders will also be seen in the movie musical set to soon be released, The Color Purple.
