Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Nicole Finds Jude

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, actress Arianne Zucker, who plays Nicole on the hit Peacock soap, says that her character is having a very difficult time moving on from the demise of her child. Or at least the child that she thinks had died. 

Arianne puts it this way, “She’s trying to cope with another loss. This is baby number three. She has all these awful thoughts in her head and is just trying to get through life. But she has EJ and a beautiful daughter… all those things. She’s trying to do what she can to heal from the tragedy.”

Thankfully, EJ is by her side during this entire ordeal. However, the moment that they get home from their dinner date, Nicole and EJ discover that their baby’s ashes have been delivered. Arianne says, “It’s a huge reminder of the hospital making a huge mistake and the fact that Nicole didn’t get to see her baby again. It makes all those feelings come flooding back. It’s just awful.”

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Nicole’s Maternal Instincts Kick In

Days of Our Lives spoilers say that the next morning Nicole decides to go for a walk at the same time that Sloan is taking baby Jude for a walk, too. Arianne says, “Nicole sees this stroller sitting in the middle of the square, this baby that’s been left all alone. Imagine what it would feel like to see any baby left alone or hear any baby crying. Her natural instinct is to help this child, to go over to this baby.”
