General Hospital spoilers say there might be a reason why fans haven’t seen Brook Lynn and Chase get up close and personal or very busy under the sheets on the show. That’s because there’s speculation that actors Amanda Setton and Josh Swickard don’t want to film any love scenes together. Here’s what you need to know.
There are rumors swirling on soap Twitter that Amanda Setton and Josh Swickard have agreed not to do any love scenes together on the show, despite the fact that their characters are currently engaged to get married. This has prompted a lot of fans to ask: what gives? Others think this is also taking away from their storyline.
It goes without saying that many General Hospital fans have had a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some even commented with, “Actors who won’t do love scenes just aren’t conducive to soap storytelling especially if they are under 50. This isn’t the damn Waltons. I have said this before. Like Adam Gregory allegedly didn’t want to do love scenes on B&B because of Jesus and he got shown the door,” along with, “I do like Josh Swickard and Amanda Setton and I do like Chase/Brook Lynn, but my position is going to stay the same. Soap actors, especially the under 50 ones, should be able to do at least a relatively chaste love scene.”
Another General Hospital critic wrote, “It’s why I don’t watch soaps anymore. They suck now. No depth and no imagination and bordering. No payoff either! Every storyline fell flat on GH the last few years I watched. I didn’t bother getting invested anymore after the Jasam debacle among other things. I don’t see them…”
And then there was this comment, too: “Look, it’s one thing to talk about your personal beliefs on X cuz nobody gives a crap and you should be free to do that on your own time. The issue is that when they go to GH they’re no longer on their time they’re on ABC’s time and there are certain expectations! Go to Hallmark or do things that align with that.”

If they don't want to do what they are being paid to do, then they need to move on to another job.
I would perfer to leave the up close and personal scenes to the imaginations. To show a pretend love scene is uncalled for.
Can't act it if it is not as written
Chase and BLQ need to move on with new people the pairing is boring and I don't see the engagement lasting and them living happily ever after this is a soap after all.
