Tragic Details About Prince Harry’s Court Case

Royal Family News says there’s a change that Prince Harry might be feeling just a tad bit homesick. That may also be the reason why he’s decided to return to the UK to fight for additional police protection after he was stripped from his royal security detail soon after he and Meghan Markle stepped down from their roles as full-time working royals. Well, there’s now some speculation that suggests Harry is fighting for more protection because he and Meghan want to return to the UK. Here’s what you need to know.

As many royal fans are aware of by now, Prince Harry is currently in court again as he is challenging the February 2020 decision by the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (Ravec) that said he and Meghan Markle would not get full-time police protection in the UK anymore. 

Instead, Harry and Meghan are only given protection when needed on a case-by-case basis and are free to hire their own private security team. However, that’s not what the Sussexes want.

Harry even told the court in London this week, “It was with great sadness to both of us that my wife and I felt forced to step back from this role and leave the country in 2020. The UK is my home. The UK is central to the heritage of my children and a place I want them to feel at home as much as where they live at the moment in the United States. That cannot happen if there is no possibility to keep them safe when they are on UK soil. I can’t put my wife in danger like that and given my experiences in life I’m reluctant to unnecessarily put myself in harm’s way too.”

Royal Family News: What’s Next For Harry And Meghan?

It’s also been noted that Harry and Meghan’s children, Archie and Lilibet, have only been in the UK once since 2019, and that was for Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations. Many royals critics have even commented on the matter with, “He has still never explained once why his security can be effective in the US where guns are prevalent and yet are not effective in the UK,” along with, “Go Harry, must be awful being constantly in danger, especially after what happened to his mum. I’ve just finished re-reading Spare, it explains clearly why he had to flee England. He did want to stay and support The Queen. Very sad.”
