The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Victoria Newman has quite the dilemma. If it turns out that Claire Grace is her daughter, Victoria will have to make a decision on whether or not she wants to accept her in the family – despite everything that has happened. According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, Victoria and her former lover Cole submit their samples for the DNA test to see if they are indeed Claire’s biological parents. Actually, make that Eve, the baby that Victoria thought she had lost so many years ago.
Speaking to the publication in a new interview, Amelia Heinle, who plays Victoria Newman on the hit CBS soap, says that before her character and Cole submitted their DNA samples, they had a heart to heart over everything that has happened and what might potentially happen in the near future.
The actress put it this way, “Victoria and Cole seem to be leaning towards helping Claire deal with her trauma of being raised by Jordan and now having to deal with the consequences of being her great aunt’s pawn. They are sympathetic to Claire’s plight, so they’re hopeful that Michael will agree to represent Claire. Victoria knows if anyone can help Claire with her legal problems, it’s Michael Baldwin.”
While they await their results, Victoria can’t help but feel emotionally invested in Claire, regardless of whether or not she is really her daughter. Amelia explained, “Victoria will soon be faced with a tough decision to make should the results prove that Claire is not Baby Eve. Either decision will have a severe impact for Victoria and her family.”
