General Hospital spoilers say that Brook Lynn felt absolutely mortified, annoyed and embarrassed for one particular reason: it was because her grandmother felt the need to insert herself in her relationship with Chase. Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Amanda admitted that for her character, Amanda admitted that her character was absolutely mortified when her grandmother, Gloria, put pressure on Chase to ask her to marry him. She put it this way to the publication, “ She was annoyed, embarrassed, humiliated. I think that was coming from is that Brook Lynn and Chase were in such a good place and she didn’t want anything to ruin that. That’s why she apologized to him; she didn’t want her over the top, intrusive, loud family pressuring him to take things to the next level when she was more than happy and grateful for where they are in their relationship.”

The stunning brunette also added that when Chase finally put the ring on Brook Lynn’s finger, she felt both “utter euphoria” and “genuine gratitude.” Not only that, but she’s also pinching herself! Amanda said, “She’s got the man of her dreams and the love of her life and the stars are finally aligned for her. And not only is it her first love, but it’s a real love, an authentic love. She can be herself with him.”
