General Hospital spoilers and updates for Tuesday, December 5 tease sleepovers, friend talks, and targets defined. Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) overslept at her sleepover, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) needs a friend talk, and Roman Hume (Mark Englehardt) defines targets.
Ava Jerome (Maura West) confronts Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) over the murder of Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth). Cyrus denies it, tells her he has an alibi and asks her if she does?
It makes sense for Ava to suspect Cyrus since thanks to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) she knows both Austin and Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) worked for Cyrus.
Ava probably shouldn’t accuse him of sending that note to her with a photo of Austin dead, and writing “you’re welcome” on it. She may have burned it in her fireplace but Cyrus could turn it around and incriminate her.
A sleepy Blaze wakes up from her first time overnight with Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) who opened up to her about her life, her hurts, and her sexual preferences.
They kissed for the first time and apparently a lot more happened between them, as Blaze is embarrassed to admit she thinks she overslept. Blaze will open up even more to Kristina and she’ll learn more about her new girlfriend. Have the two women finally found the perfect match for each other?
At home, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) shares a discovery with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). He has an evidence baggie with a key in it and tells Sam it might be the key to finding out who’s after Anna.
It could be the key found on the body of Jameson Forsyth (uncast character) in the morgue, or he could have found it and bagged and tagged it in the field.
There are two situations to solve, one, who the arsonist was who set fire to Anna’s townhouse. The other, who might have tried to take her out at the Metro Court pool.
Elsewhere, Anna tells Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) she could use a friend. It’s been a rough few weeks for Anna since Halloween, when she shot Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) mistakenly.
She still bears the emotional scars of breaking up with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) as well, and just needs someone to talk it out with. Old friend and former sister in law Felicia is the perfect person to unload on, the two have been through many rough things together. Plus, Felicia’s patient advocate training could be an asset as well.
Elsewhere, Hume, Sonny’s Pikeman contact person talks to Brennan (Charles Mesure) who appears to be his boss. He asks him to define the priority, Sonny or Anna-Brennan will verify both are. Sonny rejected Pikeman shipments because Hume couldn’t or wouldn’t tell him who the Metro Court sniper was.
It is apparent that the sniper was one of the Pikeman people, it could have even been Hume himself. Sonny may have made a grave mistake turning down that shipment as Brennan sat in Kelly’s cozying up to Sonny’s ex-wife Carly Spencer (Laura Wright)!
Speaking of the sniper. Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) has questions that need answers, from Sonny. He’s investigating the shooting, trying to identify whose bullet landed in his back, supposedly a ricochet of one meant for Sonny or Anna. Sonny asks what Curtis wants from him, and he tells him he wants names. Unfortunately, Sonny’s been trying to find out the same thing and doesn’t have the answers Curtis needs.
