Fans will see the character on Monday, December 4. The audience last saw the character in April 2022.

At that time he crashed Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) and Craig Wesley’s (Kevin Spirtas) wedding. He was a wet blanket raining on the parade, resulting in the nuptials being cancelled. What will he get up to this time around?

DOOL Spoilers: Jackie is Back

This time out Jackie interacts with Peter Porte’s character, Dimitri Von Leuschner. Cox talked to SOD about his return saying “What’s amazing is that the fans are always asking me, like, ‘Am I the person who murdered Abigail?’ ‘Is she the one who’s helping Leo?’ They see me in the show even when I’m not there!”

He added that the show’s head writer Ron Carlivati understands the character’s popularity and thus are “trying to squeeze me back in where they can, which is so much fun because I think Leo is such a fun character on the show and I love how connected my character is with him.”

Cox debuted on the soap in the Beyond Salem series. He said that when he was asked to return, he had a booked touring schedule but didn’t think twice about accepting the invite.

Cox enjoyed his scenes with Peter Porte: “I cannot say enough amazing things about Peter … this experience was just so lovely because he was so willing to work with me. When they were shooting other stuff, he was like, ‘Let’s work on our scenes together!’ He was like, ‘I’m so happy you’re here,’ and since then, life keeps pulling me and Peter together” — thus far, they’ve run into each other in three different cities!”

He ended by saying “I want to say thank you to all of you guys because I see you on Twitter and everywhere, talking about how fun it is to see me and always thinking up what I could be up to next. I love it, because I swear the writers are looking at it somewhere!
