The Young and the Restless: Doug Davidson Vents Out His Frustration

It’s not easy being one of the most handsome men in daytime television, but it’s clearly a job that someone’s got to do. And for a lot of fans out there, that job is clearly suited for The Young and the Restless alum Doug Davidson.

The actor, who once was best known for his role as Paul Williams on the hit CBS soap, once again has a doppelganger. That’s what happens when you are just so darn good looking and everyone wants to be just like you. Here’s what you need to know.

After one of Doug’s Twitter followers brought to his attention that there’s another person out there pretending to be him on the social media network, Doug promptly replied with, “Not me. Geez. Never ends!!” Clearly, it’s happened plenty of times in the past.

According to many of Doug’s fans, it seems like it’s been happening all across the board on different social media networks, too. Some even commented with, “Reported & blocked someone on Instagram claiming to be you!

Love you bro! I’m so sorry this keeps happening to you” along with, “It’s weird that it just keeps happening with you and your daughter. It’s very sudden, at least on my timeline. I just keep reporting and blocking…hopefully you can do more somehow.”

The Young and the Restless: What’s Next For Doug?

While no one knows why there’s an imposter out there trying to pretend to be Doug Davidson, one thing is for certain: there is one and only Doug out there.

He did such a fantastic job playing Paul Williams for four decades on The Young and the Restless that fans have been begging for him to return to daytime television.

But because of some disagreements between Doug and the producers about his contract, it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen anytime soon. Then again, anything can change, too. Watch this space.
