The Young and the Restless comings and goings tease that fans might be seeing a new but also old familiar face make her way back to Genoa City.
With all of the speculation suggesting Melissa Ordway is looking to leave the hit CBS soap, there are also rumors swirling on soap Twitter that General Hospital alum Emme Rylan might be taking her place as the new Abby Newman on the show.

As many The Young and the Restless fans can recall, Emme left her role as Abby Newman back in 2010 to play Lulu Spencer on General Hospital.
However, she hasn’t been in Port Charles in quite some time, leaving many fans to believe that her time on General Hospital is over.
This has also prompted fans to wonder whether or not she would make the jump back to The Young and the Restless, seeing how there will soon be a vacant role now that Melissa is possibly leaving.
It goes without saying that many The Young and the Restless fans have had a lot to say about the matter on social media.
Some even commented with, “I hope the rumors are true. She and Devon would be fire together. She could even wear heels again,” along with, “She may have better chemistry with Devon. Oh I would definitely love her to come back to be Abby again!!!”
Another fan wrote, “Somebody should bring her back. I still don’t know why let her go. She was my favorite Abby!”
So far Melissa herself has not made any comments about whether or not she’s leaving the show. Watch this space as we have a feeling there is so much more juicy The Young and the Restless drama to come.
