Royal Family News says that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have every reason to be feeling salty these days. There’s strong speculation that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been snubbed by King Charles and the rest of the royal family.
That’s because they have not received their invite to spend Christmas with the royals at Sandringham this year even though they desperately want to come to the UK. Here’s what you need to know.
Reports have indicated for some time now that Harry and Meghan are looking to come back to the UK and hopefully repair relations between King Charles and themselves.
That’s why they wanted to spend Christmas this year with the royal family, even though this would be their first Christmas back in the UK since 2018.
In 2019, the couple took a ‘break’ from their royal duties and traveled to Canada where they spent Christmas with their friends. They’ve since celebrated the holidays at home with their small family in California.
Well, something between now and then must have changed because Harry and Meghan are looking to get back into the royal fold. But it seems like Kensington Palace is not budging.
Even though Camilla Parker Bowles’ children and grandchildren have been invited to spend Christmas with the king and queen at Sandringham, the Sussexes’ invite must have gotten lost in the mail somewhere.
So far Harry and Meghan have not made any comments about the matter, but there’s no doubt that this snub has got to hurt.
Just when they thought things were getting better, it looks like the royals still want nothing to do with them. Not now, and certainly not for the holidays either.
Then again, there’s a good chance that Prince William might have had something to do with this. There’s no way that he and his wife Kate Middleton would ever sit at a dinner table with Harry and Meghan ever again and especially after all the things they’ve said about them.
