General Hospital News: Emma Samms Shares An Update On Her Long Covid Condition

As many of Emma’s fans are probably aware of by now, Emma has also been dealing with long Covid for the last few years. Emma first contracted Covid-19 back in March 2020 and while the virus did pass  through her body, some of the symptoms had stayed.

She said at the time, “If I do something of any physical exertion, there will be a price to pay for it. Sometimes the price is just that I get a sore throat. Sometimes it’s just that I feel really tired.

Sometimes I get that plus a whole bunch of other symptoms, including not being able to breathe properly and having a really constricted chest. A lot of the time, it feels like there’s an elephant sitting on my chest.

It’s just the most uncomfortable feeling, and every now and then I find myself sort of gasping, trying to fill my lungs with enough air.”

Well, now it looks like things are significantly better for Emma. The beautiful actress took to her Twitter account and shared a lovely photo of herself and her husband Simon McCoy.

She captioned it with, “I genuinely don’t know how I would have coped with having #LongCovid without the support (emotional and sometimes physical) of my spectacularly kind husband @SimonMcCoyTV Here we are last week, at a fundraising ball for the wonderful @Willow_Fdn.”

Of course, it didn’t take long at all for both of her fans and her followers to comment on her post. Many of them wrote, “You look amazing, Emma. I hope you’re feeling well.

What a gorgeous, sweet couple! We are so glad you have him!!” along with, “A good husband is worth his weight in gold. I am so glad that you have yours!”

And then there was this comment as well: “What a lovely picture. You both look exquisite. Thanks Simon for taking such good care of our favorite lady. Love those smiles. Now this is what a happy couple looks like.”
