The Young and the Restless spoilers say that there’s a vacant spot open at the Genoa City Police Department. It seems like the GCPD is having a very hard time retaining good employees and especially now that it looks like Chance Chancellor might be leaving, too.

During the latest episode of The Young and the Restless, Chance said that he’s looking to make a major change in his life and that he might be putting his law enforcement days behind him.
But if Chance does leave the police department, a lot of fans can’t help but wonder who is going to take his place, especially with all the crime that occurs in a city like Genoa City.
Of course, there’s always the possibility that Paul Williams might come back and get back to business. The timing would definitely be right, especially with Christine and Danny back on the scene as well.
Many The Young and the Restless viewers know that things just haven’t been the same ever since Paul left and Rey Rosales passed away. Simply put, Genoa City need a Chief of Police.
Then again, there’s always the possibility that a newcomer might make his or her way and start some trouble from within. Someone needs to get to work before the streets of this fictional city become infested with crime again!
