Royal Family News suggests someone might have had a change of heart. Even though Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not celebrated one single holiday with the royal family since 2018, it appears as though they want to travel to the UK now to spend Christmas at Sandringham with King Charles and Queen Camilla.
However, they are yet to get an invite from the King of England himself. Here’s what you need to know.
Even though several reports have indicated that Prince William wants absolutely nothing to do with his brother and especially with his sister-in-law, King Charles doesn’t feel the same way.
He does want to bring Harry back in the fold and he especially wants to have his two grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet, back in his life. The King of England knows that the only way to make that happen is if he makes peace with his son Harry and his daughter-in-law, Meghan.
Well now it looks like the Sussexes feel the same way finally. They want to come to the UK and have the kind of royal holiday that they can only have in Sandringham with the family.
However, the ball is clearly in the King’s court right now. One royal rota reporter even said on Twitter, “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex would welcome an invite to a Sandringham Christmas or family time with the King, after glimmers of a thaw in frosty royal relations. But no invitations have ever been extended. Is trust the issue?”
And by trust, that means no one knows if Harry and Meghan are going to have Christmas in the UK just to go back home and blab all about it to the media.
They’ve done it before and who is to say they won’t do it again, right? Watch this space as we have a feeling there is more juicy royal drama to come.
So far both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not made any comments about their Christmas plans just yet.
