General Hospital: Wally Kurth Admits To Mental Health Struggles

General Hospital star Wally Kurth has recently admitted that he hasn’t been doing very well lately. The actor, who is best known for his role as Justin Kiriakis on Days of Our Lives and Ned Ashton on General Hospital, admitted that the last few years have not been easy on him after Ingo Rademacher made the same admission. General Hospital: Wally Kurth Admits To Mental Health Struggles

Just recently, Wally’s former General Hospital co-star Ingo Rademacher took to his Instagram account to detail all of the struggles that he’s been dealing with lately.

He says that he’s unmotivated and because of his unemployment status, he’s gained weight. He is also worried about what the future holds as moving his family from California to Florida has not been easy. In fact, he says that this has been one of the hardest periods of his life. 

Well, Wally took to Ingo’s comments section to admit that he’s also been dealing with mental health struggles on his end as well. The actor wrote,

“Ingo, like you, I now admit how hard the last few years have been on me. I am a world class optimist and positive person.. but I took a soul-jarring hit. I feel like I’m slowly coming back to more balance. Hang in there my friend. Hold on to your family. Hugs help.”

General Hospital: What’s Next For Wally?

It didn’t take Ingo very long to respond to his former co-star as he wrote back with, “Bro first thanks for sharing that and 2nd. Thanks for reaching out. That alone right there means the world to me. Glad you’re also on the mend.”

Wally didn’t specify exactly what mental health issues he is dealing with right now, but the good news for him is that he still has a job at both General Hospital and Days of Our Lives.

As far as Ingo is concerned, he has not managed to land a daytime television role since he was ousted from Port Charles. Watch this space for more to come.
