According to Soap Opera Digest, actor J. Eddie Peck is coming back to reprise his role as Cole Howard later this month. He will have a surprise reunion with his ex-wife, Victoria.
The last time that fans saw the actor on the canvas was way back in 1999, when he divorced Ashley Abbott and then moved to England to become a professor at Oxford.
It goes without saying that many The Young and the Restless fans have had a lot to say about the matter on social media. In fact, many were quite excited over the prospect of seeing J. Eddie Peck back in action.
Some comments from Y&R fans on Twitter have included, “He looks like he is on the set, where Nikki is being held hostage, I recognize the windows in the background. Also the artwork on the wall,” along with, “So that explains why he was at the 50th anniversary party for the show, with his son!! That’s Claire’s father. Victoria is Claire’s mother. Jordan raised Claire. I’m surprised it’s taken the show this long to bring this character back.”
Another critic wrote, “So, is Aunt Jordan yet another crazy nurse/doctor who pretended a baby died and then stole it? Is Claire really baby Eve–and why would Jordan steal her? She knew how to set up that IV for Claire so she must have a medical background?”
And then there was this speculation as well, “Claire could be the stillborn baby Eve they had together? I makes 0 sense but why would Cole’s kid be after Nikki/Victoria except they both sexed up Cole?”
It goes without saying that The Young and the Restless fans will have to tune in each and every day as we have a feeling that things are about to get pretty dramatic in this fictional town of Genoa City. Watch this space!
