It wasn’t too long ago that Prince William very much felt like a part of the Middleton family. He and his wife Kate Middleton would alternate holidays by spending one with the royal family and the next one over at Carole and Michael Middleton’s estate. Prince William loved how laid-back and normal the Middletons were. He also felt like he could confide to his in-laws about things that he wouldn’t tell his own father, King Charles.

Well, things have certainly changed as Prince William can’t even look his mother-in-law in the eye, let alone stand in the same room as her. He feels as though she’s humiliated the royal family by not only going losing her business, but also being millions of pounds in debt and being chased by creditors as a result.

This is not the kind of family that Prince William thought he had married in to. He can’t believe that someone like Carole Middleton would have lied the way she had all these years by pretending to be a successful business woman when she was going broke instead. That’s why he wants absolutely nothing to do with her. Of course, Kate Middleton feels like she’s stuck in the middle as she absolutely understands where her mother is coming from but at the same time, can see why Prince William would feel so angry about it all. The royal family has to deal with enough drama coming from the Sussexes in California, so that’s why the last thing anyone wants is even more negative headlines, but this time with the Middleton name in them.
