General Hospital spoilers hint that Spencer Cassadine has his hands full in the land of Port Charles. His romance with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) has gotten far more serious, and he’s juggling that with trying to maintain a co-parenting relationship with Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) and having an active role in his baby brother Ace Cassadine’s (Jay and Joey Clay) life.

Still, with actor Nicholas Chavez recently scoring a movie gig, could fans see Spence exit the little town?

Reports reveal that Nicholas has secured a Netflix movie series role, playing Lyle Menendez in Monster. For those who may not be aware, this film is based on the real-life situation that took place in California, where the Menendez brothers (Lyle and Erik) killed their parents in their own home.

Still, it looks like this is just a movie series and not multiple projects. There’s a good chance that Spencer is staying put and Nicholas will just work double duty between the Netflix flick and the soap. However, with the way storylines are moving, fans can’t help but speculate.

Sprina took the next step in their romance and did the deed in New York and seemed more in love than ever. Still, upon their return to Port Charles, reality set in.

Esme is not going anywhere, and while she might not remember who she is (that’s debatable), she continues to be a thorn in the couple’s side.

Add in the fact that Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) disapproves of the Sprina relationship, and there are a ton of odds working against the couple; it’s a recipe for disaster.

Spencer and Trina could break up, with Cassadine fleeing to take time away from Port Charles. With Laura Collins (Genie Francis) around, he knows Ace will be in good hands and Spence “won’t be gone forever”.

Still, there’s a good chance that Esme and Ace go along with them now that Trina’s out of his life, and the three realize the happy little family they could become.

Then again, Spencer could exit town in hot pursuit of his dad, as Nicholas Chavez exits the role, and a recast is found. The opportunities are endless.
