The Young and the Restless Spoilers Update Friday, October 20: Jill Digs Deep For Dirt, Victor Acts Against Shadow Enemy

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, October 20 indicate that Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) isn’t buying what her frenemy Mamie Johnson (Veronica Redd) is selling.

After decades of ill will between these ladies, they are once again face to face, with Mamie looking like the cat who got the cream, and Jill looking like a wet alley cat.

She sets out to find the real reason Mamie is back in town, and has her work cut out for her.

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Jill Doesn’t Trust Mamie

Mamie secretly bought up shares in Chancellor-Winters, making her a business partner of Jill’s. Jill was shocked at the discovery and believes Mamie is up to no good.

For her part, Mamie keeps repeating that all she wants is family unity. Wash, rinse, repeat.

Speaking of Mamie’s family, Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) interrogates Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and he could discover that Nate and Mamie had a private meeting.

This would stoke suspicion since Mamie has not been very open about her whole involvement with C-W. Maybe Jill is right about Mamie having a sneaky secret agenda?

Y&R spoilers: Devon’s Suspicions

Mamie’s shady manner has Devon alert to any damage she might commit even though Nate repeats the party line that all Mamie wants is to bring her fractured family back together.

That fantasy could be completely unrealistic after Nate nearly sold out his relatives in an ugly business deal. Devon and his sister Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) don’t trust Nate, and they are correct to believe that he is always game to cut corners if it benefits him.

Devon confronted his bio dad Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) about being in cahoots with Mamie, but he denied it convincingly. Fans know however, that Mamie and Tucker are indeed doing business behind the scenes.

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Tucker’s Machinations

Getting Jill out of the family company will be on her bucket list, that much is a no-brainer. But how will Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) figure into this tangle once she returns from France?

She and Tucker planned to take over Jabot but fell out over the disintegration of that scheme.
