Prince Harry has a new divorce ultimatum. It looks as though he doesn’t want his wife, Meghan Markle, to write her own tell-all book even though Harry’s memoir Spare was a massive hit. One of the reasons why the Duke of Sussex doesn’t want his wife to write a book is because he’s already seen all of the damage that the book has done as far as his relationships with his royal family members are concerned. Here’s what you need to know.
In Spare, Harry detailed the nasty fight that he had gotten into with his brother, Prince William. If that weren’t enough, he also made his father King Charles look like he was emotionally unavailable and suggested that Camilla Parker Bowles was so desperate to climb her way up the royal ladder that she could have easily walked across dead bodies to do so. To add even more insult to injury, Harry made Kate Middleton look like a royal bully and said that she was the one who made Meghan cry a few days before their royal wedding back in 2018.
And now it seems like Meghan Markle wants to tell her side of the story but Prince Harry doesn’t think it’s a good idea. All Prince Harry wants is peace and not more drama in his life right now. Plus, he’s thinking more and more about moving back to the UK – on at least a part time basis – and will need his royal connections in order to make it happen. If Meghan decided to release her own book, it would be more damaging just because all of the allegations would come from her and not Harry this time around. The royals, including Prince William, already hate her enough and for her to say anything negative about a royal family member in print would certainly tip people like the Prince of Wales off the edge. That’s why Harry wants to make sure it doesn’t happen.
So far Prince Harry has not confirmed nor denied any of the divorce rumors.
