The Young and the Restless spoilers say that we definitely didn’t have this in our bingo card for 2023, yet here we are. There’s a possibility that actor Jordi Vilasuso might return to the hit CBS soap to reprise his role as Rey Rosales. That’s because Rey supposedly has a message for Sharon Newman and Chance Chancellor from beyond the grave. Here’s what you need to know.
According to new reports, there’s speculation that Rey Rosales will return to Genoa City, but in ghost form, of course. As many Y&R fans can recall, he did die in a terrible car crash last year. The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Chance’s obsession with Rey’s death might tie into the current storyline. He wanted to wrap up the case but also felt like he needed more time to solve some unfinished assignments that Rey left behind before his death.
The Young and the Restless spoilers now tease that as Chance is growing closer to Sharon Newman, he might go back and try to find out exactly what happened to Rey during the time of his death. There’s a strong possibility that Rey may come back to haunt Chance in his dreams. He’ll also probably tell him to take care of his wife Sharon, as she deserves nothing but the best in her own life.
When Sharon finds out that Chance has been having dreams about Rey, she will grow concerned, too. It’s not everyday that your lover is given the task of solving the case of what happened to your now deceased husband.
With that said, so far actor Jordi Vilasuso has made no comments about whether or not he would be willing to return to the soap. Watch this space. The Young and the Restless fans will have to tune in to find out what will happen next.
