The Young and the Restless spoilers say that the truth certainly hurts but being lied to feels like you are being stabbed straight in the heart. And if there’s one person who knows that feeling all too well, you better believe that it’s Sally Spectra. Apparently, Nick Newman was lying to her this entire time about actually being in love with her. That’s because he was never in love with her to begin with. Instead, he just wanted to be with her so he could make his half brother Adam Newman jealous with envy. And to a certain extent, it sure did work. Here’s what you need to know.
A lot of The Young and the Restless fans believe that Nick Newman never loved Sally Spectra to begin with. Instead, he was just with her in order to keep her away from Adam Newman. Because that’s the kind of person Nick is. He wants to do everything he can in the world to make his half brother as miserable as possible.
While Nick certainly didn’t love Sally, he loves the idea of being with her. Those two are, of course, two different reasons to be with someone. Simply put, Sally was used. She could have enjoyed a little more stability with Adam, but Nick intervened and got in the way. And now that Nick dumped her for kissing Adam again, Sally feels broken. The fashion designer has never felt this horrible in her life.
The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest Sally might very well get her revenge on Nick. That, or she may not say anything at all. All she needs to do is get back with Adam. Now that’s going to feel like a stab in the heart for Nick, right? The only person that Nick loves the most is himself.
