The Young and the Restless alum Doug Davidson, who was once best known for his role as Paul Williams, is hospitalized. Talk about a horrible way to end such a great vacation, right? Keep reading below as we’ve got all the details that you need to know right here. 

The Young and the Restless Alum Doug Davidson Hospitalized

Soon after returning from his fan event in the Dominican Republic, Doug shared a photo on his Instagram account of a positive COVID test. He captioned it with, “It’s all fun and games until someone gets hurt.”

And then on Sunday, Doug revealed that he got so sick that he ended up in the hospital. He explained to his fans, “As some of you are aware, I came back from the Dominican Republic with Covid. After three days, I had significant trouble breathing, and I’d like to give a shout out to these fine agencies who were exceptional on every level. 1st: The 911 operator, she was absolutely fantastic. 2nd The Summerland/Carpinteria, fire district and 3rd: Cottage Hospital emergency Department! Hats off to all of them. They were incredible in every regard.”

Many of Doug’s fans commented on the matter with, “Hope you are doing much better now. So sorry you had such a hard time. Sending much love,” along with, “Hope you were released and are back at home recovering. I know about breathing problems all too well. Spent many nights in the ER with my son and know how scary that is. Feel better.”

The Young and the Restless Alum Doug Is On The Mend

Another fan wrote, “So sorry to hear it’s been a rough ride. So strange how some don’t even know they have it while others struggle for days or weeks. Glad you got the help and praying for your full recovery asap!”
