King Charles feels as though he’s been hit over the head by his own son, Prince Harry. That’s why he’s chosen to side with his wife Camilla Parker Bowles rather than his own son and especially after all the things that he’s said. Here’s what you need to know.

King Charles is showing love and loyalty to just one person in his life and that’s his wife, Queen Camilla. And who can blame him? The King of England feels as though Prince Harry did him dirty by throwing him and the rest of the royal family under the bus in the multiple ways that he’s already done in his interviews with the press and of course, his tell-all book, Spare.

Royal expert and author Duncan Larcombe, who often has one thing or another to say about the royal family, says that both King Charles and Queen Camilla just can’t forgive Harry for what he wrote about them in his memoir. Camilla especially can’t get over the comment that Harry made about her wanting to climb her way up the royal ladder so much so that she was willing to walk over dead bodies to make it happen.

What’s Next For King Charles And Prince Harry?

Larcombe put it this way, “Harry has said some deeply hurtful things about Camilla [in that memoir], and yet the King will still correspond with his son, albeit not directly.”

The royal expert went on to say that King Charles feels like he’s been hit over the head by his own son. Larcombe added, “It’s remarkable really, because when Charles became king, he said he loved Harry and Meghan which was a huge olive branch — which Harry then took, snapped in half and then hit him with it.”

Now, whether or not King Charles and his son Harry can work past their issues remains to be seen but at the same time, the two of them refuse to even be in the same room as one another. Clearly, someone’s got to make the first move.
