Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Nicole’s Daughter Is A Wild Card

Days of Our Lives spoilers say that she certainly looks like her mother and there’s no doubt in anyone’s minds that she acts like her, too. Actress Ashley Puzemis, who now plays Holly Jonas on the show, recently opened up about the similarities that her character has with her on-screen mother, Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker). Here’s what you need to know.

It might be hard to imagine Holly as a teenager now, but time sure does fly in the daytime television world. However, both Ashley and Nicole have worked together very closely ever since the young actress joined the soap. Ashley told Soap Opera Digest in an interview, “It’s been fun for her to tell me about the show and her role specifically, because I’m basically a younger version of her.”

When asked how she would characterize Holly, Ashley said, “She’s kind of a wild card. She’s young. She’s naive. She’s spunky. She’s outgoing and confident. She thinks she’s sexy. She’s also kindhearted. Her upbringing certainly wasn’t perfect in any means, but I think it was filled with a lot of love from Nicole and Eric [Greg Vaughan] and all the people around her.”

Ashley also added, “But she’s also Nicole’s daughter. You never know what to expect from her. She’s drawn to danger and excitement.”

Ashely also adds that this isn’t her first time in front of the cameras. She also worked on a show called Danger Force on Nickelodeon, which films on the same lot as Days of Our Lives. She said, “So when I went to set for DAYS, I was familiar with how the dressing rooms would look, how the parking is, how security is, how to get into the lot… When I filmed that series, I didn’t know a few months later that I’d be booking a recurring role on a show just right around the corner.”
